About the author

At fifteen years old, I was already planning my future. First came love, then came marriage, and then came our first child, which made everything happen. At that young age, my husband and I decided to open our own plumbing business. I had a lot to learn—managing a new baby, answering phones, learning to cook, doing the laundry, and the list goes on. What was I thinking? Thank goodness for love.

Beyond writing and running a business, I have a range of hobbies and skills. I hold a freshwater diver’s license and have had the exciting opportunity to explore the Straits of Juan de Fuca. Additionally, I earned my amateur radio (ham) license after passing three challenging tests and became an “Amateur Extra” which is the highest level allowing me to communicate with people all over the world. These days, I’ve been keeping things a bit more mellow. My oldest daughter inspired me to collect stamps from the national parks in the United States, and I’ve already made significant progress in that endeavor.

My journey as an author continues to bring new surprises, and I hope my stories will captivate and delight readers, making the words come alive for all who read them.
